As students of all ages go back to school this fall, they are still at risk of the Coronavirus disease (COVID) and its complications. The best way to protect students from COVID is to get them vaccinated. COVID vaccines are safe and can help prevent the worst outcomes from COVID.

You have 3 ways to find vaccines near you:

  • Search vaccines.gov
  • Text your ZIP code to 438829
  • Call 1-800-232-0233

You may need parental/guardian consent to get vaccinated if you’re under age 18.

CHILDREN AND TEENS

  • The best way to protect students from COVID is to get them vaccinated. #VaxToSchool
  • Every child should get COVID vaccines, and parents should make sure kids are up to date with boosters before they return to school this fall. #VaxToSchool
  • COVID vaccines protect students from the worst outcomes from COVID. #VaxToSchool
  • Experts from the CDC and American Academy of Pediatrics recommend COVID vaccines for all eligible children, which includes children in pre-school. #VaxToSchool
  • Boosters provide continued protection against COVID-19 and are recommended for eligible children ages 5 years and older. #VaxToSchool
  • Getting COVID vaccines also helps keep students healthy to participate in extracurricular activities and keep them from getting canceled. #VaxToSchool
  • COVID vaccines for students are safe and can be given with other routine vaccinations needed for school. #VaxToSchool

COLLEGE STUDENTS

  • COVID vaccines and boosters keep college campuses safe. #VaxToSchool
  • Students who are healthy can still be at risk for severe COVID complications if they are not vaccinated. #VaxToSchool
  • Being vaccinated with the primary series and a booster provides the greatest protection against severe COVID illness. #VaxToSchool
  • College students who have already been vaccinated should get boosted. #VaxToSchool
  • Getting fully vaccinated and boosted allows college students to stay healthy so they can focus on their classes, safely socialize, and attend fun events. #VaxToSchool
  • When more students get vaccinated, the entire campus community is better protected against COVID. #VaxToSchool
