Anjani was born and raised in the Bay Area of California by her parents who migrated from the Fiji Islands in the early 1970’s. She is of Indo-Fijian decent and first-generation college graduate. She has received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from San Francisco State University. She also achieved a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration, with a Concentration in Public Management and Policy Analysis from California State University, East Bay. Anjani’s career goals are to continue working within Higher Education where she can help students achieve their educational goals, especially within the Pacific Islander Community. She currently holds a position at Stanford University as a Student Specialist in the Material Science and Engineering Department. Anjani has been a part of NCC-NPIEN since 2015 and has been recently elected as president of NCC-NPIEN, (2019) proceeding after Dr. Nancy Martinsen.
